Vegas Baby
We made a trip down to Vegas in October and I am just getting around to posting pictures. The kids were really excited to see Grandma and Grandpa and they got to watch movies in the van. The portable DVD players only come out for really long trips, and that is mainly for our sanity not theirs. We were all really excited about the weather difference. The kids wore shorts all weekend and we didn't have to bring a jacket when we went to the park. We had a lot of fun, and got to spend time with Brandon's family, which is always fun. They are hosting a foreign exchange student this year from China and it was fun to watch her with the kids, especially Britton. And Britton developed a special relationship with Jasper, the parrot, she had to go say hi to him as much as possible and sometimes he would wave back.
The kids had fun at the park, I think that they really enjoyed that it was so warm. William spent a lot of time digging in the sand and trying to keep himself going on the swings. He was a little sad that he is getting too big for the baby swings so he couldn't swing by Caitlyn and Britton.
Caitlyn loves the swings and most of the parks here don't have swings that she can just go to town on. So she was absolutely pumped when I told her that the park in Vegas had more than one baby swing. If she had her way she would just stay on the swings the whole time.
Britton loved the swings, there are a lot of pictures of her on the swings and even one where Brandon's timing was so off that she and the swing aren't in it, but if you look really closely or make the picture bigger she is sticking her tongue out. She was just laying back enjoying herself with her tongue sticking out.
Trying out the short slide.
Britton thought she was so clever because she climbed up these steps by herself. Then Brandon told her to say hi to me and she stuck her face between the bars and yelled "ha!"
Brandon was too big to go through this slide. He has Britton in his arms and was trying really hard to not hit her head.
The reason we went down was because Brandon's brother Daniel got married. So here we all are at the temple. We were able to find a purple tie for William to wear with his vest and the girls had their skirts. Britton was completely out. Brandon's folks live about five minutes from the temple and in that time she just zonked. Of course the photographer kept asking me to turn her around for the pictures.
