Wednesday
Brandon hates Wednesdays. How do I know this you ask? Because he told me, in those exact words. I'm sure you are all wondering why he would pick this particular day of the week to hate, most people seem to be ambivalent about it, love it or hate it it's the middle of the week, so I will tell you. Our local school district happens to have an early release day. I have no problem with that, but they choose to do it in on Wednesday which I do find a little weird. If we were morning people and had put our kindergartner in the morning class we really wouldn't care about early release, unless it was a district mandated early release which really complicates things, but we have a child in the afternoon class. So on Wednesdays we have to try to remember to get William to school earlier, class starts twenty minutes earlier, and we have to remember to pick him up an hour earlier. Now when I say we, I mean me. Whenever I am trying to rush William out the door Brandon is always surprised that it is Wednesday again, it does come every week right? We have gotten calls twice from the school reminding us that it was early release and we needed to pick up William. Neither time was it my fault. The first time I can honestly blame the Walmart checker who was very confused by the WIC checks and just took forever, so we were late but Brandon was confused when I ran to the van and said we had to hurry. The other time Brandon was being a very thoughtful husband and told me that I could lay down for a nap, Britton was napping early and I knew I wasn't going to get a chance later, so I did. I surfaced from sleep about five minutes before school was out, when we needed to leave to get William, and I couldn't hear Brandon so I assumed he had left to go pick William up. When the phone rang later and woke me up, I was a little confused that I didn't have to answer it but then Brandon came in and told me that we had forgotten William again. I just thought, what we? So I had to laugh when Brandon told me that he hated Wednesdays, I was walking in the door from the dentist so I hadn't been home to remind everyone that it was our early day. Next year we won't have to worry about the end of the day, the real problem is going to be getting William to school on time every day.

Same reason I don't like Tuesdays...only it is Late start. Which would mean Chad couldn't bring Hazel to school on his way to work and I'd have to pack all the kids in the car. However, I found a loophole! I pay for her to eat breakfast at school on Tuesday mornings (and Chad brings her there at the usual time). Best dollar spent all week. It means I can sleep a little longer and don't have to rush everyone to the car.
Kaylanee has early out on Wednesdays too, however; she is in school all day so I just need to remember to pick her up.
