My Blanket in My Spot

Caitlyn's blanket is very important. It makes everything right in the world. There is no wrong that the blanket cannot eventually make right. Of course this makes the blanket gross and disgusting, due to snot, dragging on the floor, and other pleasant experiences. She will use a back up blanket, thank you to all the people who gave us fuzzy pink blankets when she was born, as long as this blanket is out of sight. So you have to be sneaky when washing. The blanket, or blankie as it is known in our house, does make bedtime easier. Just cuddle it by Caitlyn's neck, her thumb goes in her mouth and she is content. She also likes to randomly put the blanket on the ground to lay on it. She will do this when she is tired, wants to be comfortable to watch a movie, and she did it when she felt traumatized by being abandoned at Nursery. Of course it makes her spot more comfortable. We don't know why she chose this spot, but she has a special place in the kitchen. Back in the corner by the fridge. She will take her toys back there and sometimes books to look at. I guess we all have our little quirks.
