The Joy of the Internet

We don't have a lot going on lately; church, children growing, Brandon actually took a sick day, children screaming, snow melting, so I thought I would blog about the joys of the Internet. It is a wonderful thing. Because of the Internet I can catch up with friends and family. Through blogs I am able to view pictures and discover that I am not the only being driven crazy by my children or trying really hard not to laugh at my children. And because of blogs I am able to catch up on the goings on of family members I hardly ever see or talk to. I know that sounds pathetic, and it really is because I live fairly close to a few of the people whose blogs I frequent. But it is funny. When I started blogging it was so easy to check other blogs because there were only about four that I knew of. Then I started checking out what blogs those people had listed in their links. And I found more friends. Then a Emi, my cousin, left a message on our blog and I found multiple links for family. It takes so much longer to check blogs now. But the best example of the crazy connections was when Candee, another cousin, left me a funny message. She had had dinner with some friends in their ward only to find out they were Brandon's cousins. So now we have a link to Shannon's blog, Brandon's cousin, and sometimes we can see pictures of my cousins children on Brandon's cousin's blog. It is a small world, the Internet reminds me of that. So I am grateful for the Internet and the connections it helps me maintain.

If you think the blogging world is a small one, you should see the connections to connections on facebook.

Hear Hear! I love getting reconnected it is so convient. It's funny thought when I check neighbor's blogs and I really could just call or go see them. That's sad huh!
