Pretty Dress
There are times when I wonder how I ended up with a girl like Caitlyn. First she has beautiful hair, which is just a cruel joke since I struggle to do my own hair. Then she insists she needs a dress everyday. Now I'm sure you all know that dresses really aren't my thing. I would rather wear pants anyday. But Caitlyn has decided that she needs a "pretty dress" everyday. She will break down if you try to talk her into wearing pants and she had broken a couple of hangars getting her dresses down by herself. For awhile it was skirts but lately we have to do some fancy talking to get her to consider a skirt. She has figured out that if she asks for pants underneath the dress she can wear a dress all winter long and stay warm. I blame this fad on princesses and spinning. She used to get a dress on and tell me she was a pretty princess, now she will see a picture of a princess and say "she has a pretty dress like me." And of course she loves to spin in her pretty dresses to show them off.
So here she is in one of her pretty dresses. Every night she will tell me her dress is not dirty and inform me that she wants to wear it tomorrow. Unfortunately she has a great memory and doesn't forget about the dress the next day. She keeps our life interesting. We love our little princess.

How funny! That sounds like my girls. I have had so much fun sewing for girls. I don't know what I would do with a boy! (Although Weston really wants one or two or.....)
I agree it has to do with the princess thing, Bailey is way more into dresses than I ever was/will be. Anyway, I guess it's okay to want to look pretty everyday, right?!
Love the dresses and the excellent memory. Your kids are hilarious.
