Weekend at Grandma's

We spent Conference weekend up at Mom and Dad's. It made sense since we were having a baby shower for Crystal on Saturday and we were celebrating Mom's birthday and Cooper's birthday on Sunday. Mom was nice enough to offer us a room so we didn't have to drive up and back and up and back. Caitlyn was very excited because we had spent some time at Grandma's Monday and Tuesday and she really wanted to go back. In fact, she gets very sad when we pull into the driveway at our house after spending time at Grandma's.Caitlyn decided to play dress up while we were there. I think my favorite is her wig. I'm not sure where she found the clothes but she spent most of Saturday in them.The girls. I think it is highly unfair that Crystal doesn't look very big at all. Normally Clarice doesn't tower over us quite so much but she was the only one with shoes on. Sunday morning we woke up to a flock of turkeys on the lawn. A neighbor raises wild birds, he keeps the turkeys so the pheasants won't fight, and they tend to get out. Mom and Dad said that they see them a lot. Some of the tom turkeys were really impressive when they would fan out their tails and puff up.

We had a great conference but with the kids stuck inside we didn't necessarily hear a whole lot. The kids were pretty good considering we kept telling them they couldn't run around or go outside. Caitlyn was very sad when we got home because she wanted to be at Grandma Luke's.
