Sunny Days, No Wind

This is what happens in south eastern Idaho when it reaches above 70 and the wind stops. Of course it wasn't much above 70 so the frolicking in the sprinkler didn't last long. William was excited to play in the sprinkler and Caitlyn was just excited to put her swimming suit on. She did get a little more comfortable with the sprinkler as she watched William run through it. She would creep in and then run away because the cold water "tickled." It was a good thing that the sprinkler wasn't turned up too high.
Caitlyn thought it was really funny to put her foot on the spray because the pressure would build up and it would spray higher for just a second. Caitlyn was really excited to put on her swimsuit. We got it at the end of last summer and we may have to replace it before the end of this summer. Tall kids aren't always worth it.

William got absolutely soaked, but he said that he was having fun. But because it wasn't a hot day, really just nice and warm, he got cold pretty fast.

Britton was just glad to be outside. She loves to watch William and Caitlyn and laugh at them. She thought they were pretty funny as they were running around.
William was brave enough to run through the water. We worked on that a lot last summer, it consisted of me running with him and I spent a lot of time wet.

This was as close as Caitlyn would get. She didn't get nearly as wet as William, but she still said she was cold. Because they got cold it was really easy to convince them to take a bath. They were excited for the warm water in the tub. I was just glad that it was warmer. Especially since the weather forecast says that it might be leaving for a time. It brings hope for summer.

Great pics! It's so fun to see the joy of summer in their faces.
