Britton Girl

I thought I would dedicate a post to our Britton girl. She is almost 8 months old and growing like a weed. She loves to see what is going on around her, enjoys watching her siblings, is a social crier and pretends to be shy. I don't have a picture of her squishy face that she makes when she pretends to be shy, I wish I did because it is really funny. She really is a pretty happy baby, all smiles for Mommy for this picture at her first baseball game. She has learned how to clap and thinks it is so fun to do. Especially when everyone cheers her on and claps with her. She is a mover too. She can push herself backwards on her back by digging in her heels, she rolls everywhere and even squirms around so she can switch directions while rolling. Lately she has been trying to army crawl, she hasn't been incredibly successful because she rocks her hips too much, and can push herself backwards with her arms because she doesn't push with her legs. But my favorite thing that she is doing lately is in the next picture.
Push ups! She has great form. I'm not sure why she gets in this position, she has been doing it for almost a week. She is starting to try to move her feet but she usually just sits like this for a little bit and then falls down. Then she starts again. We are wondering if she is going to bear crawl like Caitlyn did. I don't know if I am ready for her to crawl. It is kind of funny to watch her push herself backwards and get stuck underneath things.

What a fun stage. It looks like you are training them early. =)
