It finally happened. Bradley got a haircut. I am actually amazed that this is his first, cause he is 10 months old now. I say finally because William had his first haircut at two months. I would find the pictures and show the massive amount of hair on that little head but I am super lazy. William got a haircut really early because he had some very stubborn cradle cap and I couldn't get through the thick hair on the top of his head to scrub it off. The oldest three kids were all born with lots of hair, and I mean lots of hair, but Bradley was a surprise because he just didn't have quite as much. Still a good amount but not as much, and lighter. But back to the haircut because I just happened to get pictures of one of the cutest kids in the world. And because of the cuteness there are quite a few pictures. Let us begin.
Here he is, all ready to find out why Daddy has this thing wrapped around him. He almost has hair in his eyes. We haven't done a mohawk on top for awhile cause it got too long. Brandon said he was tired of the old ladies at church saying he was too pretty to be a boy. But we definitely could have done pigtails. The length on top isn't really the reason we decided to cut it, he was starting to get some straggly curls behind his ears.
Why are you looking at me? He just looks so cute in this picture I had to put it on.
What is that thing and why has it been touching my head? He was really good during his haircut, he didn't cry or fuss until right at the end. It probably helped that Daddy was holding him.
Almost done, this is when he started moving and being tired of sitting still.
What a handsome guy! Now there is no hair in his eyes and he is definitely blonde. His hair is light enough I can see a mole on the back of his head.
This picture just cracks me up, but he is so cute.
This is how much we cut off his head. The longest was up on top but it was pretty thick all over. The best part was the fact that after I used the clippers with the guard his hairline was still really neat. So I didn't have to use the little trimmer and try to hold him still. So no pigtails for him.
