12 Weeks
Finally, the end of the first trimester. I hit the twelve week mark today, yay hurray, so hopefully the nausea and the constant tiredness will slack off some. For those of you who don't want to do the math, I don't blame you because who would, my due date is December 5th. In the ultrasound that we posted last week I was exactly eleven weeks, mainly because I put off going to the doctor because I couldn't figure out where I wanted to go. But so far everything seems good. The doctor didn't call so I can safely assume that my blood tests are normal, another yay hurray, now I just have to tell him about the trek this summer and get his okay for that. I am excited that I will be able to take medicine as my allergies have been haywire. I did get the chance to advise Brandon on the use of Benadryl this week and I am sure everyone at work is glad he didn't take the two tablets he had planned on. In other news from this week we are well on our way to replacing our faithful neon that left us stranded in Utah, apparently it didn't want to be with us anymore, but there will be more about that when we find out more.

Odd and Even
William demonstrated today his growing sense of humor and timing. We found a series of books at the library that teach early math concepts within the stories and William thinks that they are great. We found one that talks about odd and even numbers and his favorite part is when he gets to tell me which number is odd and which is even. So of course I wanted him to share this with Daddy since Brandon hadn't had the chance to read the book. So at breakfast I asked him to tell Brandon which numbers where odd or even. He had to have a little help and prompting but he managed. So I teased him and added Brandon's name to the list of odd numbers. William laughed and I asked him if Daddy was an odd number. William answered, "No, Daddy is an odd person." So we started the day with a laugh.
